The Rotal Group, founded in 1963 by Bernhard Rosenthal and was the natural continuation of a long dynasty of industrial and technical trading since 1825 by Lipman Rosenthal in Lohrhaupten, Germany.
Today, the Rotal group is a leading manufacturer of gluing, sealing, oils, and lubricants to measuring and control devices, dosing devices, UV equipment, green cleaners, and more industrial products; headquartered in Kfar Sava, Israel, The Rotal Group imports thousands of products a year from its suppliers all over the globe.
From chaos to profound efficiency
With Hundreds of simultaneously moving pieces of inventory, every day counts. The demand for The Rotal Group products got higher and higher as Covid 19 hit the world and disrupted the supply chain globally.
For Rotal, it was even harder to keep control over the supply chain as they have 3 subsidiary companies in the group.
The Procurement & Shipping team was drowned with purchase demands, emails, spreadsheets, and check calls from the other business units that were seeking information and was looking for a solution that will be flexible enough to keep the work methodology as is but still smart enough to add and connect internal+external capabilities & data into the process to allow better decisions based on clean and valid data.
With most of its supply shipping over the air, Flexibility and visibility of the supply chain to manage customer expectations requirements was an ongoing issue for Rotal.
Rotal sought greater visibility & control into the supply chain, driving its accessorial costs to optimize data and performance and reduce the Transportation Goods Price percent for each product.
